Recently, I had completed an army commission, bringing forth an Undead army for a client. This project breathed life (or unlife, perhaps?) into various infantry and monstrous entities, each painstakingly painted to our level 3 quality.
The Night Sky’s Fury:
The Giant Bats, with their outstretched wings and menacing silhouettes, add a dynamic element to the army. Painted to Level 3 quality, these nocturnal creatures are poised to swoop down and unleash chaos upon the unsuspecting foes.
Wolves of the Grave:
The Wolves, loyal companions to the undead horde, are painted with meticulous detail, capturing the essence of their feral nature. The fur, teeth, and claws are brought to life with a combination of skillful shading and highlighting techniques, making these creatures a force to be reckoned with.
Undead Majesty:
The pièce de résistance of this commission is undoubtedly the large Undead Dragon. Painted to Level 3 quality, this majestic creature exudes a commanding presence on the battlefield. The intricate details on the bones and flesh, and the grandeur of its wings all contribute to making it a centerpiece that demands attention.
The Undying Legions:
The heart of any undead force lies in its infantry, and this commission sought to create a formidable host of undead warriors. Painted to Level 3 quality, these infantry units stand as a testament to the meticulous attention given to every detail. The decision to paint them in either purple or blue forces adds a layer of diversity and character, elevating the army beyond the mundane and injecting an otherworldly presence on the tabletop.
