I am happy to showcase our latest completed commission, a classic Warhammer Necromunda 1st edition Delaque gang, ready to skulk through the shadows of the underhive!
The Gang
This sinister crew from the depths of Hive Primus consists of:
- 8 Delaque Gangers – The rank and file of this shadowy organisation, painted to Level 3 quality
- 1 Delaque Leader – The mastermind of the gang, given extra attention with Level 4 quality painting
Underhive Atmosphere
Staying true to the classic Necromunda aesthetic, we painted this gang in the traditional 1st edition Delaque color scheme. These iconic colours immediately identify them as members of House Delaque, the information brokers and spy masters of the underhive. The scheme perfectly captures the dark, mysterious nature of these bald-headed assassins and saboteurs who prefer to work from the shadows.
To truly capture the grim industrial setting of Necromunda’s underhive, we’ve added several atmospheric touches:
Basing: Each model stands on gravel bases featuring rusted pipes, creating that authentic underhive factory floor aesthetic. The industrial debris tells the story of a crumbling infrastructure where these gangs fight for survival.
Weathering Effects: We applied realistic rust effects to the weapons, showing years of exposure to the underhive’s toxic atmosphere and harsh conditions. Additional weathering gives each ganger that lived-in, battle-hardened appearance that’s essential for Necromunda’s grimdark setting.
