Whats on the Painting Table

Well I’ve had lots of fun this past week. Lots of commissions completed and lots of blistered fingers drilling and filing Khador Miniatures. I’ll put up some posts during this week of the completed commissions so stay tuned for those. In the mean time here is whats on our plate […]

The Butcher

More Khador miniatures have been painted up for the Khador army commission. We’re currently getting the miniature in batches as each batch takes a while to paint due to the display quality paint work.

Khador Winter Guard Characters

Some more Khador Winter Guard characters & solos have been painted up for the large Khador commission that we’re working on. Several weeks back we painted the Winter Guard detachment, this time round we painted up their Standard Bearer, Officer and Kovnik Grigorovich. Also the bases of all the miniatures had their front arcs painted. As with all the miniatures in the army, these were all painted to Display quality and were all based with crushed glass for the snow effect.

Whats on the Painting Table

Apologies all, its been a few weeks without a commissions update. This was due largely to all the flu and sickness going around. So very little was painted and I was too sick to put up any updates. Thus this weeks update is a little larger than normal. This week has had a lot of Warmachine miniatures painted up (which is makes a nice change from the normal Games Workshop products).

Khador Winterguard

As part of an ongoing Warmachine Khador force commission, these Khador Winterguard were painted up to Display standard. The bases were a grey granite base with snow covering. The snow covering was created by using Secret Weapon crush glass. The coats of the miniatures were also dusted with a white pigment powder to give the impression that snow has been kicked up on the miniatures.

Lots of new commissions arriving and completing this week. To begin with some nice Khador Winterguards are about to be completed and shipped out, keep an eye on the posts this week for more pictures of that.

A whole stack of inbound commissions have arrived and have begun going under the knife for cutting and cleaning. I’ll be working on some Infinity miniatures at the start of this month, with some Blood Bowl miniatures later in the month.

Vladimir Tzepesci, Great Prince of Umbrey

Vladimir is the first off the line of an upcoming Warmachine Khador army. The client is just beginning their Khador army and wants the whole army painted to Display quality (its going to look spectacular). The basic theme of the army will be to follow the Khador red colours of the studio and to have all the miniatures based on snow covered ground.

Whats on the painting table

Well its been a while for a Whats on the Painting Table. There has been a stack of things going on over here, so much so that the website hasn’t been updated as much as I would like. The little project which I started 9 months ago finally came to completion which has taken me off line for the past several weeks.
