We’re excited to share our latest completed commission, a substantial expansion to a client’s existing Drukhari army that’s ready to bring terror to the battlefields of the 41st millennium!
The Colour Scheme
To ensure perfect cohesion with the client’s existing army, we matched their established colour palette of deep maroon, stark black, and gleaming metallics. This classic Drukhari scheme captures their sinister elegance; rich maroon evokes spilt blood and ancient nobility, while the black and metallic accents emphasise their advanced yet cruel technology.
Each model features dusty bases that complement the army’s aesthetic while providing subtle contrast to the darker armour tones. The weathering and battle damage applied at our Level 3 standard gives these warriors a properly menacing, battle-tested appearance.
The Force
This commission consisted of 33 miniatures painted to our Standard Level 3 quality, adding significant firepower and versatility to our client’s Drukhari collection:
10 Mandrakes – These shadow-wreathed assassins emerged from their dimensional prison ready to strike fear into enemy hearts.
5 Wracks – Grotesque creations of the Haemonculi covens, perfect for objective holding and close combat
5 Scourges – Elite winged warriors equipped for rapid strikes and heavy weapon support
10 Kabalite Warriors – The backbone of any Drukhari raiding force, bristling with deadly splinter weaponry
3 Talos Pain Engines – Massive constructs of agony and destruction that will dominate the battlefield
We’re thrilled with how this commission turned out and can’t wait to hear how they perform in their first raids! The cohesive colour scheme ties the entire force together beautifully, creating an army that looks as deadly as it plays on the tabletop.
