A client of ours used Hero Forge services to design and 3D print his Dungeon & Dragon character in several poses using their user friendly web interface. The miniatures were painted to Display Quality. During the painting phase we did find that the miniatures has a little rough texture that did make it harder to paint on. I wouldn’t try to sand this back as it would be very difficult to do without damaging or breaking the miniature.
The miniature did have some OSL from the flame and did use NMM techniques on the armour.
