A quick update today to let know what I’ve been working on. I’m currently working on a Talisman set for a client; all the miniatures for all their expansions. I’ve lost count of how many miniatures there acutally are, I think it’s in the realms of 50 or 60 miniatures. Here are some images of those that are completed.

A returning client is adding more Imperial Fist Space Marine components to his army; Thunderfire cannon, Sternguard Veterans, scouts and lots of Drop Pods.
I’ve used the normal tried and true way of painting Imperial Fist Space Marines as discussed in previous posts again. There was a slight difference in the way I applied the weathering to the Drop Pods though…. I finally got an airbrush and just had to let loose with it.

I was commissioned to paint a Warhammer 40k ‘Imperial Psyker’ up to display standard. This particular miniature isn’t actually a Games Workshop product but rather a Delzira Demon Princess from Bombshell Miniatures.

Recently I painted up some Dreadball teams from a starter set for a client. The next lot of miniatures from the client was the Dreadball MVPs. Now since I don’t have the game (yet) i’m not sure how the MVPs are used when it comes to teams, do they favour or cn be used be certain teams or can anyone use them. Just to be safe I didn’t want to paint any colours that might align them to the wrong team so I stuck with the same colors used by Mantic for their MVP players.

Several people have asked me how the blue has been painted for the Ultramarine force that we recently did for a commission. In this guide, I’ll cover how we painted the Ultramarine Dreadnought and the two colors that made up its primary colors; the blue and the gold.).

I first saw Dreadball on kickstarter but failed (read that as forgot) to back it. At the time I had seen the concept miniatures and they look great, but I’m always fearful that when concepts translates to actual physical miniature that the results will be less than impressive. After failing to support the Dreadball kickstarter I […]

The final expansions for the Fantasy Flight Game Battle of Westeros were completed for a client. This particular commission took a while due to the vast amount of miniatures involved. Considering the price of these expansions, they are great value for money (horrible though if you have to paint them). Being 15mm […]

I recently was asked to do a centerpiece 60mm base for Warhammer 40k. It was to be themed for a Chaos army and was to display a battlefield with littered Space Marine bodies and other battlefield parts. The direction for the base was to include Space Marines from the Black Templar chapter as well as enough space for a large Demon.

The May Relic boardgame special has now finished. There were 5 copies painted. The below images are taken from one of the sets. They were all painted to this standard (a cross between our standard and high quality)

We’re coming to the end of May and our 25% discount for all new customers is drawing to an end. Remember that you have to make the booking during the month of May, you don’t necessarily need to have the items painted at that time (great for those waiting for their Kickstarter items).
