In a past post I talked about issues and mistakes that happen and in particular about a Space Marine captain i was painting for my own Ultramarine army. This is an update post so that you can see the before and after.
Originally I had a decision to make after painting too deeper blue and too whiter highlights on my captain; would I keep the current colour scheme and paint the rest of the miniature and hope that all the colours tied in harmoniously, or change the blue contrast and try again.
Well I started painting the gold non-metal metal and realised quickly that the whole appearance was going to look to washed out. So I repainted the blue with less contrast and kept going. This is the outcome (If you like this please vote on it on Cool mini or Not website).
