This commission is a first for us; painting historically accurate miniatures. The commission was for a Bolt Action German World War 2 force from the mid-war period. The client provided the color scheme for us to follow (I’m not much of a World War 2 person so I was’nt aware of color schemes).
I learned a lot from painting these miniatures, for example the German tanks started off with camoflage (Browns and greys) in the beginning of the war, but as the cost of the war went up, the German tanks were painted with grey paint only.
